Where's New Year's Eve?

Where will you be bringing in the New Year for 2007? I've found that a lot of my friends are leaving their trusty residential city for a trip to unfamiliar but alluring territory.... Miami, San Fran, Chicago, Orlando; I'm trying to decide if I should follow suit. It's getting late being that New Year's Eve is at the end of this week, but I'm getting pressure from my friends for us to find a glamorous city to ring in the New Year. It is exciting to be in a cool club surrounded by strangers (and close friends) and a trendy atmosphere, but airports, weather uncertainties are a couple of cons I don't know that I want to deal with. Often times I look at this holiday as being over-rated, but its intent is to be fun. I'll have to make a decision and fast!

I'll be spending NYE at church for Watch Night service.

I have done the travel for NYE thing many, many times. I've been to Cleveland, Chicago, New Orleans, London, Amsterdam and probably more that I can't recall. And I always wished I had stayed home. I hate being out with a bunch of strangers, paying lots of money for something that is never worth it.

To me the best NYE is a house party with people you know.

Whatever you do, be safe and have fun!

Unfortunately, I will be celebrating New Year's Eve in Columbus, Ohio. Note to self, make travel plans at least a month in advance.....airline costs are outrageous!

I spent New Year's in LA, but nothing too excited, the clubs are too packed that night. Thanks for checking out my blog!

I ended up staying in town and going to church to start and finished at a lounge with friends - no regrets!
