Trick or Treat

I was looking in my closet the other day just to see what I had in there that I'd forgotten about. I found the best thing ever - a burnt orange boyfriend jacket by Benetton! I was so excited for the first five minutes of finding this piece in my closet, but after that baffled by what to wear with it. How do you wear orange and not look like Halloween (and I don't care that the occasion is around the corner)? With that said I feel that black paired with this jacket is instantly ruled out. I'm thinking white, ivory, tan, brown... Am I being too narrow minded? What other colors would work with this bright burnt orange bf jacket?

I totally understand your concern. I can't be sure without seeing it, but I think that if you did pair it with black if you throw in another color as well then it will break it up and not appear too Halloweenish. My thoughts were some skinny black jeans and just a white t-shirt. Of course all the other color options you listed would be great as well. And I am hoping you didn't forget denim. It will look great with any pair of jeans! Great re-find :)

why don't you pair this jacket with a chic shift dress? i'm thinking eggplant purple and gold accessories!!! you're so tall and thin, the outfit would look super cute on you.

oooohhhhh......or with brown tweed city shorts, a fitted tank, tights, and booties, like the steve madden ones i showed you, but closed toe

or with denim leggings and belted....
